Agribusiness Club
The Agribusiness Club is composed of students from several AgBio undergraduate programs that meet bi-weekly to discuss ag-related current events and topics, meet guest speakers, and go on local agribusiness tours. The Agribusiness Club is connected to CAMA (Canadian Agri-Food Marketing Alliance) chapter as our travelling team for case competitions and student marketing development. To fundraise for the Agribusiness Club and CAMA, the Agribusiness Club holds an annual cornhole tournament and dance, coming up this January. CAMA members will compete at NAMA (National Agri Marketing Association) in St.Louis Missouri in April, where we received 5th place from 30 university teams.
Animal (Bio)Science Club
The Animal (Bio)Science Club is comprised of students in the programs animal bioscience and animal science (along with some interested students from across campus) who would like to get to know others in their program and learn all that our industry has to offer! We hold events year-round where we talk about the possible options for careers working with animals and further schooling after undergrad, and we also host some fun events to bring together our peers. So far this year we have held our annual Flamingle in September, and we have our annual horse handling lab coming up in November.
Dairy Team
The Dairy Team has had a great start to the year! Our first meeting had a great turnout and we enjoyed touring the Rayner Dairy Centre on campus. We had a great turnout for our Moo-Moo Pub Crawl and are looking forward to some tours to Southern Saskatchewan in the New Year, as well as possibly offering an Artificial Insemination course. New members are welcome at any time!
Environmental & Bioresources Students’ Association
The Environmental and Bioresources Students' Association (aka EBSA) is a student's association that is dedicated to connecting students within the small community of environmental, soil, plant, crop, and renewable resource majors within the college of AgBio. Within the association, we plan out various outdoor events - such as hiking trips, ski trips, and rock climbing - to help students connect to their peers and the outdoors. Additionally, EBSA is connected with many organizations that provide volunteer and/or job opportunities to members. It is a great way to connect to others within your program, and explore possible career options.

Pre-Vet Club
The Pre-Vet Club is dedicated to introducing students to the diverse and rewarding field of veterinary medicine while fostering a supportive community for those pursuing careers in animal health. This year, the club has already hosted several exciting and informative events. We kicked off the term with a Meet the Exec Night, giving members the chance to connect with the executive team and learn more about the club’s goals and upcoming opportunities. Throughout the year we welcomed guest speakers from OzTREKK, Wild Sun Wildlife Rescue Center, and representatives from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. We host events such as an Application Help Nights, Suture Lab Demonstration, and annual Mock Interviews. The Pre-Vet Club continues to grow as a place where students can explore their passion for veterinary medicine, develop practical skills, and connect with others who share similar interests. We welcome all students interested in animals, medicine, and science to join us and get involved!
Range Team
The Range Team has done a couple of meetups since club day. This includes a BioBlitz in the northeast swale, to look at some of the plants found on rangelands. In the coming future we are having some presenters come in, along with doing Undergraduate Rangeland Management Exam (URME) study sessions in order to prepare for the annual Society for Rangeland Management conference. Which some members will be this coming February 2026.
U of S Beef Team
The U of S Beef Team is a group of students who are passionate about the beef industry and are eager to learn, educate and network. We are always busy planning trips and workshops for our members to take part in order to learn more about the beef industry and become connected with industry professionals. In the past we have had the opportunity to travel to the Denver Stock Show, Fort Worth Stock Show and hope to have a "major trip" every other year. As well as smaller trips on alternating years to surrounding provinces to see a variety of operations from primary production all the way to finished product marketing. We are also fortunate to have grad students, vets and other industry professionals come and speak to us about their work and how it fits into and impacts this industry.
U of S Rodeo Team
The U of S Rodeo Team has had a very busy fall! We kicked off the Canadian College Rodeo Association season on September 12th in Benalto, AB. Following that the UofS Rodeo Team was able to host the Only College Rodeo in Saskatchewan on September 20th and 21st. We had over 140 contestants from 7 different teams and over 1200 spectators throughout 2 days. The team has continued to compete during the fall run of rodeos. In the Spring the CCRA season will resume and will be showcased by the Canadian College Finals Rodeo in Rimbey Alberta on May 1st to 3rd.
University of Saskatchewan CAMA
The University of Saskatchewan CAMA (Canadian Agri-Food Marketers Alliance) Club has had an exciting and productive start to the year. Over the past month and a half, our members have been hard at work on our main project: researching and selecting an innovative agricultural product that delivers real value to producers. This project will evolve into a comprehensive marketing plan and presentation, which our team will take to St. Louis, Missouri, in April for the annual NAMA (National Agri-Marketing Association) Student Marketing Competition. As the semester progresses, things will only get busier for CAMA. We’re looking forward to refining our project, strengthening our partnerships, and preparing for more busy months ahead.

Every year, the Agros sell Membership Cards, or more commonly ‘Ag Cards’. They are one of our main revenue drivers. Funds from these cards are put back into the college for other events/programs. Every individual who buys an Ag card gets several perks, both in and out of the college.
